When people struggle to feed themselves, their pets often go hungry too. With hundreds of thousands of Mainers set to lose SNAP benefits next month, even more families may find it difficult to provide for their beloved animals.
If you or someone you know needs help getting pet food, please reach out. Animal shelters and rescues are here to help pets stay in their homes with the people who love them. No one—human or animal—should go hungry.
