Adopting A Cat

All cats adopted from Midcoast Humane have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, have received rabies and distemper vaccinations, flea, tick and de-worming treatments, and other medical treatments as needed. All cats over six months of age are tested for FIV, Leukemia, and Heartworm diseases. Adoption fees are indicated in the animal’s profile. Please bring a carrier for your new friend, or purchase a heavy duty cardboard carrier at the shelter for $10.00.

Please Note: Our Brunswick campus is open to potential adopters from 11am to 3pm everyday but Wednesday. Our Edgecomb campus is open by appointment only. If you are interested in adopting a cat located at our Edgecomb Campus or in foster care, please click here to fill out an application.
