Community Engagement Manager

The Community Engagement Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating all aspects of community engagement, including the volunteer program and events, and helps to enhance the operational efficiency of Midcoast Humane and community engagement. Behavior and Training Coordinator

The Behavior and Training Coordinator is responsible for utilizing Midcoast Humane’s Behavior and Training Standard Operating Procedures to conduct behavior plans, enrichment programs and evaluations at both of Midcoast Humane’s shelters, in Brunswick and Edgecomb, and ensuring that staff and volunteers adhere to those procedures. Click here for the full description.

Veterinary Technician

The veterinary technician works directly with the Midcoast Humane Veterinarian to provide medical support by means of technical work, record keeping and communication tasks. The veterinary technician has a significant role in communicating with and educating pet owners and support staff. Click here for the full description.

Feline & Small Animal Care Technician

Animal Care Technicians are responsible for providing safe and sanitary conditions for animals and people by assuring all animals’ nutrition, housing and basic needs are met on a daily basis. Responsible for providing friendly, positive interactions with potential adopters meeting animals available for adoption and working cooperatively with other shelter staff and volunteers in a fast paced, potentially high stress environment.
