Vaccination Clinics

Midcoast Humane offers low-cost vaccination clinics for dogs and cats several times each year. Clinics are held in different locations throughout the forty communities we serve.

Pricing is as follows:
Rabies Vaccine: $10
Distemper Vaccine: $15
Microchip ID Insertion: $25

Flea and tick prevention products for dogs and cats will be available for purchase at a discounted rate. No appointment is necessary. Dogs must be on leashes and cats must be in carriers. If available, please bring your pet’s most recent rabies vaccination certificate. Make sure your animals are indeed due for vaccinations. Over-vaccinating can cause short and long term adverse side effects and has been linked to cancer and immune problems.

This clinic is intended to serve animals who do not receive regular veterinary care as a part of their healthy living. Although all animals will receive a basic vet check for obvious health issues, this visit should not replace your relationship with your pet’s veterinarian. It’s vital to have a veterinarian relationship as they will be able to take the time to talk to you about your pet’s health, including any behavior issues, nutrition questions, lifestyle and activities.
