Millie’s Donation Cans

In 1976, Board member Mildred Rogers began to distribute tin donation canisters in area businesses so that community members could conveniently make a gift – no matter how small –  to shelter animals. She launched what became known as our “Millie’s Can” program that now raises much needed dollars for animals in need.  Every dollar placed into a Millie’s Can helps to provide care for dogs, cats, and small animals in need. You’d be surprised what your dollar can do!

The businesses below have opened their hearts and sacrificed some counter space for our donation box. We hope that you will stop by to say “hi,” and support these wonderful businesses, and maybe throw in a dollar or two.
