My name is Checkers and I'm looking for fun people who love to give belly rubs and are active in their lifestyle. Are you looking for the perfect adventure buddy? That's me! I love walks, hikes, and maybe even runs to help me burn energy in a fun way. I enjoy chewy treats, interactive food toys, and anything that squeaks! A fenced yard where I can run and sniff would be amazing, too. I've been around other dogs and may enjoy a canine friend after a proper meet-and-greet at the shelter. I might be a big boy with a little bit of puppy brain, but I'm eager to learn-especially when treats are involved!
