Hi! I'm Shasha **My Adoption Fee is Sponsored!**!
My adoption fee has been SPONSORED entirely by a gracious donor.
The adoption floor can be quite stressful for me, so please ask a staff member to meet me.
Shasha traveled all the way to our shelter on a transport from a rescue in Georgia. Shasha is a nervous girl who uses her bark to intimidate new people, but don't let her fool you, she loves snuggling and butt scratches. She doesn't show well in her kennel, but when she meets new people outside she tends to warm up quickly. This girl LOVES her snacks- give her just a few treats and she will open up; she is super affectionate, playful, and cuddly! Shasha would benefit from continued basic obedience, and impulse control training to help her to solidify basic commands and strengthen her bond with her people. We think because of her size, and her wariness of new people that she would blossom to her fullest potential in an adult only home. Kids are small, loud and move fast, and that can be very overwhelming for a shy girl like Shasha. We would recommend a meet & greet with any potential dog housemates before sending Shasha home. Shasha is not confident with cats and would likely prefer to live without them.
If you are looking for an older girl that would love to enjoy Netflix and snacks with you all day, this is your lady. Patience, treats, and lots and lots of love will make her one very happy dog!
