For the second year in a row, Southern Maine rhythm and blues legends Bonnie Edwards and the Practical Cats return to Nobleboro to play a fundraiser in support of Midcoast Humane!
Forming in Portland in the 1970s, the group toured nationally and internationally and played nightclubs from the Apollo Theater in New York City to the former Gilbert’s Chowder House in Camden. The band won the 2003 Maine Blues Society Competition, participated at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee, and have shared the stage with many national acts.
The Playing for Paws fundraiser will take place 7pm – 8:30pm at a private performance space, ‘The Jam Cave” in Nobleboro. Because seating is limited, tickets are available only in advance at $20 per person. For tickets and concert details, text 207-841-1461.
